Cider the Old Fashioned Way
We're proud to say we make some of the best-tasting, freshest cider
around. We've been making cider the same way, with our beloved antique
cider press for almost 50 years. Our expert cider press master,
Cornelius Murray presses sweet apple cider every week, so our customers
enjoy our fresh-pressed nectar all year round.
Skilled Blending Tradition
Our cider is blended with several types of apples to achieve a
complex combination of sweet and tart. John Henry, our extremely
skilled cider manager uses apples such as Ida Red, Rome Beauty and
Mutsu for flavor, Granny Smith for tartness and Delicious, MacIntosh
and Empire for sweetness. As John Henry says himself, "the
best cider takes all kinds of apples to make".

Locally for Local Folks
You won't find our fresh apple cider in your average supermaket
chain store. We only sell our apple cider from our retail store;
this way we're able to ensure our customers only have the freshest.
Local folks have grown up on our cider and we're proud to continue
the tradition. Customers come from miles around to buy our hot donuts
and wash 'em down with cold cider. If you get a chance, stop by
and try a pint... or quart... or maybe even a gallon!
